Message From the Acting Chair by Mimi Konigsberg
As Acting Chair of the Board of Governors of Leo Baeck College, I am committed to the principles of good governance, especially by working in partnership with the faculty, administrators, staff, students who we encourage to participate in the important decisions regarding the operation of the college. The Board of Governors values and appreciates our Patrons, alumni and other key stakeholders who provide us with support and valuable links to our communities.
While ultimate legal authority and accountability remain with the Board and administration, all stakeholders will have
respect for and recognise the many and varied roles of all in the College community.
We aim to provide timely information to ensure meaningful input to the decision-making process and an inclusive dialogue that respects divergent perspectives.
These principles, which represent best practice in higher education, make LBC stronger and more effective in the accomplishment of our mission.
