On Wednesday 16th November, as part of Interfaith UK week, Leo Baeck College partnered with The Faculty of Divinity of Cambridge University to run a webinar comparing two case studies that explored the role of Hebrew learning in Jewish schools.
World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) President Rabbi Sergio Bergman met with Britain’s Progressive Jewish leadership as part of his first trip to the UK in the role.
In a day spent at Leo Baeck College, Rabbi Bergman and WUPJ Chair Carole Sterling met with Baeck College Principal Rabbi Dr Deborah Kahn-Harris, Dean Rabbi Dr Charles Middleburgh and Acting Chair Mimi Konigsberg, as well as Liberal Judaism CEO Rabbi Charley Baginsky and director of youth Becca Fetterman.

Five New Rabbis Ordained
Leo Baeck College (LBC) ordained five new rabbis in a service held at The Liberal Jewish Synagogue on Sunday 3 July.

NLPS Trust Grant Award to Leo Baeck College Library
With the grant awarded by the NLPS Trust we have been able to purchase a bespoke modular shelving system adding 50m to the library’s shelving capacity and maximising the use of our spaces.
