Dr Chani Smith contributes to ‘Lexikon Schriften über Musik’

Mazal tov to LBC Senior Lecturer, Dr Chani Smith on her contribution to ‘Lexikon Schriften über Musik’.

She says: “The lexicon presents writings about music from different historical times, cultures, and religions. It’s a longish entry containing texts from R. Nahman and explanations about his unique perception of music as a spiritual process and a path to worshipping God. 

Two volumes have been published already, and my entry will be included in the third and final volume.“
