Leo Baeck College – Board of Governors

Leo Baeck College is the preeminent institution of Jewish scholarship and learning at the heart of the intellectual and spiritual life of the UK Progressive Jewish community. Leo Baeck College combines inspirational, high-calibre teaching with a commitment to developing rabbis, educators, other professionals, and lay leaders who will build sustainable, accessible, and thriving Progressive Jewish communities.

The College has been refining its governance so that the Board of Governors effectively partners the professional team and faculty. We are now seeking inspirational and committed individuals who are team players to join our Board to ensure the College continues to develop and thrive well into the 21st Century.

We are looking to create a diverse board from across the UK. We are particularly searching for people knowledgeable in the fields of higher education, marketing and communications, and fundraising. In addition, we will be holding elections for Chair and Vice-Chair of the College.

The task we have set ourselves as an organisation requires long-term commitment and strategic thinking and we need your help. To deliver our vision and values we expect the whole Board to be committed to the Nolan Seven Principles of Public Life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
