Every student on our Masters programmes produces a dissertation whether for the final part of their rabbinic studies the MA in Applied Theology or on our MA in Jewish Educational Leadership. These extended pieces of research are an opportunity to explore in-depth the issues and ideas that drive their beliefs and professional practices.

Recent Rabbinic ThesesThe Thesis Collection goes back to the first rabbinic graduates from the college and the collection forms a remarkable record of Progressive Jewish thinking and the development of rabbinic education and practice. The dissertations inspire and set a standard for each new group of students and show the variety of their passions, motivations and approaches to their rabbinate and teaching. For many it is a piece of work which paves the way to becoming a published author.
