Dr Katy Jackson is a Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist.  She has extensive training and clinical experience using a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focussed counselling, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems, hypnotherapy, somatic therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.

Katy’s specialties include trauma (PTSD, childhood trauma and domestic violence), work-related stress, anxiety disorders (including phobias and panic attacks), acute and chronic illness, depression, self-esteem and identity issues, and bereavement.

Katy currently delivers the Counselling Skills/Listening Skills module which covers Core Counselling skills (active listening improving interpersonal skills; empathy, impartiality and setting boundaries) and practical ways for Rabbis to support both themselves and their congregants.
