Throughout its history, Leo Baeck College has had a number of collaborations with different academic bodies.
Its awards have been validated amongst others by the Council for National Academic Awards (CNAA), the Open University Validation Services (OUVS), the Institute of Education (IOE) and the University of Winchester (UoW).
From 2015-16 Leo Baeck College formed a new partnership arrangement with Middlesex University which validates all the Jewish Studies and Jewish Education awards, with the exception of the research awards. The degrees carry the imprimatur of Middlesex University.
Leo Baeck College and Middlesex University hope that with time further opportunities to deepen the collaboration through joint grant applications to research councils and the development of synergies in areas such as Law, Sociology, Cultural Studies and Interfaith Studies may be available. Staff at LBC are currently invited to attend Middlesex University’s Perspective in Religious Studies research programme.
Quality Assurance Agency
Leo Baeck College successfully underwent a Review for Educational Oversight in 2012-13.
In 2016/17 the College underwent HE Review for Alternate Providers. The QAA reached the following judgments about LBC’s standards and quality:

- The quality of student learning opportunities meets UK expectations
- The quality of the information about learning opportunities meets UK expectations.
